Seats Ready For Glass
Seats were cut to size from 3/4" Marine Plywood.
Edges were routed with 3/8" radius bit.
Surfaces sanded #80 grit.
Note glass cloth layed-out on seat at top of frame.
Epoxy Wet-Out
The fiberglass was wet out with epoxy.
A plastic spreader was used to force the fiberglass sheet tight against the wood substrate.
4 coats of epoxy were applied to achieve coverage of the glass cloth.
Seat Bottom
3 coats of Epoxy was applied to seat bottoms.
Seats Complete
Excess glass was trimmed and sanded.
Additional coats of epoxy were applied to edges to build up thickness.
